Bizen houhin by Touhaku II (Bizen-278)

A simple houhin with some scorch marks.

The knob on the lid is crafted in the shape of a hammer, a popular treasure motif symbolizing good fortune.

Some shallow fissures can be seen on the lid. This is a by-product of the firing process, and is not a defect.

Approx.size: length 4.5" (11.5cm), height 3.6"(9.3cm),
volume 9.4 oz (280ml)

Comes in a signed wooden box.
Handcrafted in Okayama, Japan by Bizen artist Touhaku II
