Bizen Yohen ridged shochu cup by Shibuta Toshiaki (Bizen 382)

A substantial tumbler with a distinctive texture. The sides have been incised to create vertical ridges and the yohen has resulted in contrasting tones.

The cup is ideal for drinking whisky or other spirits "on the rocks", but can equally be used as a large yunomi for tea.
