II) A stunning hand-painted yunomi graced with a wealth of designs from the noted Ichiraku kiln. Traditional "shonzui" sometsuke patterns are interspersed with finely detailed flower panels and bands of color, all combining to create a perfect balance of traditional motifs, most befitting of a kiln known for it's high quality pieces. Bands of classic sometsuke adorn the base and interior, while the sides are manually scraped by a skilled craftsman to create vertical ridges which make the cup easy to hold.
