Aohagi teabowl by Noutomi Susumu #2

The rugged contours of this compact teabowl by Noutomi Susumu are enveloped in a subdued blue glaze making it surprisingly smooth to the touch. Refined shades of light blue flow over the surface to create a calm, soothing effect. Very pleasing to hold and fascinating to look at. Noutomi Susumu is the owner of the Choun kiln and also produces one-off pieces of art. He exhibits frequently and has won numerous awards and prizes.
