White Hagi Tea Bowl by Suizu Kazuyuki

These White Hagi tea bowls by Suizu Kazuyuki have a soft milky-white glaze over a warm, earthy clay body. The slightly irregular form and raised foot give each bowl a relaxed handmade character typical of Hagi ware.

They can be used as small tea bowls, serving bowls, or casual vessels for Japanese green tea, desserts and small side dishes. Each piece varies slightly in size, shape and glaze expression.

These are the actual pieces in stock. Variation #1 has been sold.
