The craftsman is committed to creating unique forms which reflect his artistic taste and strives to achieve a depth and subtle nuance of tone through the time consuming and labor intensive process of wood firing.
Unlike Tokoname teapots, the lid is not ground to fit perfectly.
Higuchi Masayuki studied under Bizen ware Living National Treasure Yamamoto Toushu for 5 years
Comes in a signed wooden box.
