This square dish with its delicate pattern of bushclover shows the lovely contrast of gray and white, a charming characteristic of nezumi shino.The pattern, painted with wax and covered with slip rich in iron-oxide, has clear, simple lines. The sides are softly curved and accented on the exterior with vertical stripes and crosses. This dish would look extremely attractive filled with colorful pickles, small delicacies or candies.
