A jizo (guardian deity) graces this unique teapot which has been delicately engraved with the heart sutra. Some holes on the top of the doake ceramic filter are slightly distorted due to high firing temperatures but this does not affect its function.

Handcrafted by craftsman Konishi Yohei, eldest son of Yusen I, recognized as a Tokoname City Human Cultural Asset and recipient of numerous prestigious prizes.
