Master Konishi Yohei's inherited the Nerikomi technique (the kneading of colored clay to create a marbling effect) from his father Konishi Yusen I. He has named it "Deishinsai" and added an extra dimension to the technique by woodfiring items to enhance the beauty of the finish
Handcrafted by craftsman Konishi Yohei, eldest son of Yusen I, recognized as a Tokoname City Human Cultural Asset and recipient of numerous prestigious prizes.
