Master Konishi Yohei's inherited the Nerikomi technique (the kneading of colored clay to create a marbling effect) from his father Konishi Yusen I. He has added an extra dimension to the technique by woodfiring items to enhance the beauty of the finish
A couple of punched holes on the filter have run together during the strong wood firing. This should not affect the perfprmance of the teapot.
