Makie Goldfish pattern kyusu by Shoryu 
Makie is a Japanese lacquerware technique where gold, silver, or metal powder is sprinkled onto wet lacquer to create intricate designs.
This teapot was made by Shoryu and decorated by a traditional Makie craftsman in Ishikawa-pref.
