Handpainted White Sasanqua Tenmoku style kyusu with a gold knob by Shoryu

The tenmoku (oil droplet) design on this teapot bears witness to Shoryu’s technique and creativity. The tenmoku design usually needs a thick glaze, however Shoryu has managed to achieve a beautiful all over effect without compromising his usual style. Extremely light and exquisitely stylish.
