This teapot by Hokujo has a distinctive pattern resembling Tokusa grass. The pattern has been created to dramatic effect by brushing an iron oxide glaze over the yakishime clay. The interior of the teapot is not glazed.
There was a tiny chip inside the handle, but it was filled with fine sand/urushi mixture.
