Various wild flowers have been hand engraved onto the surface of the yunomi and then covered with a lovely understated purple glaze. Clean and simple lines depict scenes along a riverbank in fall, with touches such as maple leaves floating on the water and grasses swaying in the breeze adding to the overall restful feel. The effect is finished off by the delicate sometsuke design around the inside rim.
